The Reading Bear ( www.readingbear.org ) is a Charles Place Education Foundation.  This website is literally for small children like kindergarten to 3rd graders. It is an educational website that can be used in the classroom during a lesson because of its vast variety of visual and audio activities available. This website is dedicated and designed to help develop a child’s letter sounds skills. There are varieties of links that you can visit on the website that will take to a lot of interactive activities for your child or your students.
On the website, there are many worksheet and activities posted for you to view. Not only that you can view but you can also listen to how they are sounding out each letter and saying the words. It is indeed a best website for kindergarten and elementary teachers.  There is lesson arrangement on the website in which the authors first teaching the letter sounds, doing a review of different letters and how they are sounded out. In addition to that, there is a link at the end of the website, when you click on it (WatchKnowLearn), it will take you to the videos available for you.
This website benefits educators and learners in ways that it impacted the phonemic awareness skills. If you are doing a lesson of differentiating letters that sounded alike, you can just show the website’s homepage to your students for them to know. There are also pictures available for each given activities. Accompanying the pictures, they have audio that makes the lessons even more interesting.
