Book adventure (http://bookadventure.com) is an interactive web- based reading program made for students in grades K-8th.  In using this students can read books, take quizzes based on the stories read and earn points. It is organized so simple and easy that the youngest learner can easily navigate. There is a database of quizzes where readers can search by author, title, grade level or interest. The site generates a recommended reading list and is marked so that children can review the book.
Like any other sign-up promo, joining book adventure is similar to any other. Either a parent or teacher signs up and replies to a verification email to get one’s account activated and ready to use. Being the teacher, your account is the control tower to providing program settings and reporting, overseeing program participation, adding students, and it also gives the teacher the ability to message students directly. A student’s account must be linked to either a parent or teacher’s account in order to be used. This is a good site to encourage students to become more actively involved in reading.
