"Language is a virus"  ( www.languageisavirus.com ) is one of the best and resourceful literacy websites I have found and reviewed so far in the educational field. This website is designed to help educators promote literacy development.
When I first opened the website, I was astonished because each day the author/authors put up a topic and the visitor would create a word prompt addressing the topic provided. It is a very interesting and fun site literally for writing classes.  There are four sections on this website. Second 1 is Games, Section 2 is exercises, Section 3 is Techniques and Section 4 is Poetry.
Under Games, they provided so many different creative writing games. These games are designed for K-12 to higher education students. And YES! They are free for us to use, so I am recommending that you, as an educator looking for interactive games for your students, this is where to find.
Section 2 is exercises, they are interactive practices that you might want to try with your students literally when you are teaching poetry and something about writing.
Under Techniques are ways to do these activities that will really engage your students in your writing classes.
Under Poetry is different types of poems provided for you.
What interest me the most is that in each sub pages, they gave you text manipulation activities so you really might want to visit this website.

It is one of the very resourceful literacy websites because of its awesomeness of providing you with the best resources you will ever need in your writing and reading classes.

I would like to acknowledge and give credits for creating and running this awesome website!
