            ReadWorks (https://www.readworks.org/) puts it is committed to bridging the gap of student achievement and solving America’s reading comprehension crisis. It is a free website offering limitless resources for differentiated reading instruction that range from nonfiction texts, activities and assessments but focusing on comprehension. It also has an online platform that teachers can use to track student progress. ReadWorks content rich platform easily assists and support student’s development of vocabulary skills and improve prior knowledge. Lessons are made with easy navigations and familiarity and it includes graphic organizers and worksheets. Included are passages within the skills and strategies category that provides opportunities for differentiated instruction that covers a wide range of reading concepts. Do keep in mind that in order for students to access the content, teachers must consistently assign tasks to promote development of reading skills across content areas.
            ReadWorks caters to K-12 graders. The quality of lesson plans, assessments, and support on this site helps facilitate reading instruction in any classroom. Teaching using this tool has an interesting daily reading that is said to improve student’s background knowledge and vocabulary skills. Also the paired texts encourage more in-depth analysis and compare/contrast perspectives. With its wide range of resources it fits any type of differential instruction in any classroom.
