using Crayola paints, modeling compounds, crayons, markers, colored pencils and
glue. These easy, quick tips offer the basics of using various Crayola art
products. If you take the time to master these easy to follow fundamental
practices your coloring, drawing and sculpting projects may take on a whole new
dimension!
You’ll find lesson plans for language
arts, math, social studies, and STEM/STEAM. The students will definitely enjoy
the creative activities that is connected to these subjects. In the featured
lesson plan, you’ll be able to create flowers and their pollinating pals using
Crayola Model Magic. The lesson plans are detailed and align with standards.
Tutorial videos are also included to the lesson plans.
What I found intriguing is creatED which
is professional learning that reignites educators’ love of teaching and
introduces new ways to spark students’ love of learning. The art inspired
teaching strategies in this website will help students make their thinking
visible. In creatED it focuses on a new
approach to making an impactful change.
As educators, we will be able to
innovate and confidently promote creative problem solving. The activities,
projects, or techniques are student centered this will encourage student
leadership and voice. The students will become content creators who can express
their ideas in a range of media and formulas. In the school culture, this will
inspire and celebrate achievement, creative thought, and collaboration for all.
