IRA Newsletter Project: Effective Literacy Website #4

I did a research on the good websites for effective literacy and was able to find one that interests me. I found a side called Busy Teacher (https://busyteacher.org/).
The Busy Teacher website is another website that will help both the teacher and the students. Just below the address bar, you will find five headings. They are worksheets, articles, posters, books, and more.
If you click on the worksheets, there are a lot of worksheets that teachers can use in the classroom to help students to learn to read. Under the same heading, there is a list of things that teachers can click to find worksheets for grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and pronunciation. At the same time, teachers will have the opportunity to select the level of the worksheet they selected. It ahs beginner, elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper-intermediate, and exam level. As I was going through the worksheets, I found some very interesting worksheets that really make me wanted to go the classrooms again. I found one on the vocabulary, it was about emotions. I really like the worksheets since it gave an emotion and listed four choices that would create that specific emotion. I really like that worksheet.
Under the article heading, teachers can find a lot of articles that would really interest students to read and to learn from. Some of the articles I went through talks about how to greet others especially during these holidays since we are celebrating Christmas and welcoming the new year, 2019. Another thing that really interests me under the article is the 10 habits of a good students. The habits describe how a student can be a good student. Just reading these articles will really help students to improve their vocabulary, grammar, and most importantly, their reading comprehension skills.
As for the heading on poster, there are a lot of different posters that would really capture the students' attention when they will be given these posters. The posters have bright colors and important notes and information on them. Students will really like looks at these posters. And while they will be looking at these beautiful posters, they would probably be reading some of the information found on the posters. By doing this, they will learn a lot of things themselves. When students read a text that comes along with pictures and images, students will understand and can relate the text to themselves as they go through. These posters are very nice and they will really capture the attention of the students.
Under the heading "more", there are also good things that teachers can use to help students. One might find the followings under the heading "more": Worksheet for seasons, 600 Creative Writing Prompt, Warmers, Fillers & Ice-breakers, Coloring pages to print, Flashcards, Classroom Management Worksheets, and Emergency Worksheets. I believe that all these worksheets and writing prompts will really helpful for students.
Another reason I like the Busy Teacher is that it has audios and videos that students will be listening to or watching while they complete an assignment given. This site in a good site for both the teacher and the students.
