Story Place https://www.storyplace.org/about-storyplace the children digital learning library where all preschool children can explore full and great activities. To start using Story Place there is a button to click on to start with a theme that you love just to start the fun. There are about 14 themes available. It is interesting because it shows and provides many pictures of animated and cartoon images where you can click on each and takes you to where you would want to explore. The images include a picture of babies, monkey, fish, frog and etc.
Story Place was developed by and with the support of Smart Start of Mecklenburg County. It was first launched in 2000. For years children and their families have enjoyed attending story times, checking out materials and participating in a variety of other programs at the various Charlotte Mecklenburg Library locations. Story Place came about to provide children with the virtual experience of going to the Library and participating in the same types of activities the Library offers at its physical locations. This website also provides early literacy information for parent and caregivers.
In this website also include a Story time Calendar page where it shares the title of the stories to be read during the given dates. It also shows which library it will be held at and the time and date for it. It is also fun and interesting because it already gives the person wanting to attend the event to understand what the moral of the story will be about. In story place there is also a content on Literacy. If you click on it, it will take you to a page where it will contain all the five ways to raise a reader. And those five ways are to help your child get ready to read with simple activities every day.
