IXL from "I excel" (https://ca.ixl.com/) is a cloud-based service provided by IXL Learning. The IXL web practice service provides more than 7,000 skills across math, English language arts, science, Spanish, and social studies for students in grades preK-12 (subscription based).
What I found interesting about IXL, it has all the tools educators need. A learning experience I believe the student’s will enjoy. Whatever you teach, however you teach, IXL will help your students excel. It engages students with IXL's interactive content, targets their needs with adaptive technology, and observe the students reach their full potential.
With the IXL Analytics, we can easily pinpoint exact item types students are struggling with, track class progress, identify areas for improvement and more. Intuitive and visual, IXL Analytics brings relevant data into focus, so we can concentrate on what we do best, focus on teaching.
Creative and visually stunning, IXL's interactive curriculum provides an inviting challenge that the students can't wait to take up. They'll enjoy learning with IXL's diverse question types and get an extra boost of motivation from virtual prizes they can discover and win. The students will be engaged, challenged and eager to excel.
I feel that the IXL web based curriculum will complement our classroom instruction. It supports student success in the subject, grade or curriculum we're teaching. All of the content is designed with clearly mapped building blocks that introduce new concepts at the right time in the perfect order, guiding our students toward fluency in core subjects.
